Welcome to Devil Physics . . .. . . and welcome to the Devil Physics Phamily. There is a reason we're known as the Baddest Class on Campus. Physics is generally known as the toughest of the sciences, and is only offered as an elective.
Consequently, Devil Physics students are among the best and brightest in the school. This is evidenced by five National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalists and IB exam scores above the world averages. Devil Physics students excel in other areas also: valedictorian, salutatorian, varsity athletes, homecoming court, senior superlatives, and class officers to name a few. Students are the class, and the class is The Baddest Class on Campus. Physics is a means of explaining what occurs in nature through mathematics. We will study mechanics, electrics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, light and optics, nuclear physics, and particle physics. Go to your class page, stroll through the syllabus and you'll have no doubt why we're the Baddest Class on Campus. Student Quote:
"Physics can be applied in more than many ways to help benefit society and further extend the base of human knowledge. Whether it be agriculture, medicine, or biology, physics is the foundation of it all. There are many interesting careers out there that create biotechnologies that promote health to both Earth and humans. Nature is still yet to be fully discovered and through physics, the path is paved for more Eureka’s." - Steven Le Methodology for Teaching Physics
